QAC Festive Paddle

Hello everyone,

 

This is a festive paddle, so if you come you must be festive! This means either wearing a Santa hat, a Rudolph nose, wearing tinsel around your buoyancy aid, other fancy dress or just bringing mince pies along to eat in the canoe.

 

I hope as many people as possible can make it to the QAC festive paddle on Weds the 28th of December. It is open to all members, adults and children, everyone is welcome. We are just going around the Quorn loop, so it will only be about a 2 hour paddle. This is so that the young and inexperienced paddlers can come, but also because obviously it will be cold (so wrap up warm). It will work just like a normal club night, but it we will be meeting at 10:00am so as to paddle in the light. I understand some people will be away or back to work. We are hoping to get a few people coming, you can just turn up on the day, but it would really appreciate it if you could let me know if you are coming (either via e-mail or facebook) so that I have an idea on numbers. I would also appreciate it if you could send this on to any other QAC members that you know as I don't have that many e-mails
